Emergency services were called out to the 100% Fun resort in the Cádiz-province coastal town at around 19.40 last night (Saturday), where they evacuated the building and rushed four men and four women – all staff members – to hospital with serious burns.
Two of the victims have suffered burns to 90% of their bodies, meaning they may not survive, whilst the other six have sustained at least 50% burns.
The more seriously-wounded have been admitted to the Punta Europa Hospital in Algeciras and Puerto Real Hospital, whilst another two with less-severe injuries are in the hospital in La Línea de la Concepción.
Of the total of 10 hurt, another two with more treatable burns are also thought to be employees.
None of the guests is believed to have been injured.
