Rebeca escaped during the bull-runs at the fiestas on September 3 and, although she was spotted by a goatherd on Thursday, nobody was able to catch her as the sight of so many humans scared her off.
Two teams of firefighters, the Civil Protection squad, sniffer-dogs and even a drone have been sent out to search for the cow, but according to her Twitter posts, she wants to be left alone to enjoy her freedom.
An account has been set up - @LaVacaRebeca – where the cow claims she is 'tired' after 'having been running too much' during fiestas, and asks that, once she is caught, people 'stroke her a bit' because she 'will be scared and very hungry'.
Messages of support from followers of Rebeca the cow have flooded in on Twitter, with the Valencia regional fire prevention squad urging her to 'keep running' and others encouraging her 'not to let herself be caught', telling her she is 'very wise'.
The cow's Twitter page praises the work of the searchers, asks to speak to the drone pilot – as well as cursing the drone in her 'personal description' slot - and says she is 'seeking a negotiator'.
