Emergency services say the 'Butterfly' club, in the Salytien shopping centre in the Playa de las Américas area of Adeje, was full at the time the ground caved in at 02.30.

The victims were of various ages and nationalities, as the Playa de las Américas is one of the most popular tourist zones of the town of Adeje, in the south of the island.
Two of them have fractured femurs and at least six have other broken bones, cuts and bruises, and about 14 of the revellers escaped with only surface wounds.
Firefighters rescued all the affected clubbers and gave them first aid whilst waiting for paramedics to arrive.
Those who have suffered the worst injuries have been taken to Hospital del Sur, whilst others were treated in Adeje and Los Cristianos health centres.
It took until at least 06.00 before everyone was safe.
Engineers from Adeje town council, and the fire brigade, have since propped up the floor.
The reason for its having fallen in has not been clarified as yet.
