A SPANISH tourist has been confirmed as one of the 27 dead in a coach crash in the province of West Java in Indonesia, where 16 other passengers have been seriously injured.
Reports released last night (Monday) said the collision was on Saturday afternoon between the tour bus and a motorbike when the former was heading down a steep hill at speed.
Authorities in Indonesia are investigating the causes of the crash and, so far, it appears it may have been caused by brake failure.
The injured have been taken to several different hospitals on the island of Java.
As yet, the Spanish victim has not been named, but is said to be a woman aged 39.
