POLICE in Jávea (Alicante province) have launched a probe after a video of two young women dancing on top of a moving car went viral on Facebook.
Footage shows the girls in various precarious positions – on one leg or in semi-handstand mode at one point – while the car is being driven along the C/ Virgen de los Ángeles, leading out of the town centre towards the Montgó mountain and the road over the top to neighbouring Dénia.
The street in question, a built-up area, contains several tight bends in quick succession.
Jávea police have passed the video, taken by the driver behind – and which shows the girls dancing to the number one hit single Lo Malo by Aitana – to a judge and investigations are under way.
Both women have reportedly been identified, and the driver – a man – has given a statement to the police.
