PASSENGERS partying too hard on a Belfast-Ibiza flight forced an emergency landing in Toulouse, south-western France last night (Friday).
The exact details of the disruptions have not been revealed, but it is known that one of the passengers was removed from the aircraft in Toulouse.
Due to land in Ibiza at 19.35, the Jet2 flight left the Northern Ireland capital at 15.30, but the urgent landing in France led to a two-hour delay, with passengers finally arriving on the Balearic party island at exactly 21.38.
Some airlines have been reconsidering whether to serve or even allow alcohol on flights.
Ryanair is reported to have announced a ban on duty-free alcohol entering the cabin for UK-Ibiza routes.
