SPANISH basketball superstar Pau Gasol has announced he and his girlfriend Catherine McDonnell will be getting married soon, although the couple has not yet set a date.
The twice-NBA champion with Los Angeles Lakers, who currently plays for San Antonio Spurs, wrote on Twitter earlier today: “Words cannot express how happy and excited we are! She said YES!!!!! I'm so lucky to be engaged to such a wonderful woman and look forward to a lifetime together!”
Gasol, who has just started his 18th NBA season, has been with Catherine, 29, since the spring of 2016.
He and his brother Marc Gasol have been playing at NBA level for nearly two decades.
