THE FOO Fighters have announced a one-night-only live concert in Spain this year, which will take place in Valencia's Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciènces ('City of Arts and Sciences').
Tickets are now on sale for the show, on June 19, as part of a mini-tour of Europe which will start in Berlin on June 10 and move on to Nîmes (France) on June 16.
The multiple Grammy, Brit and NME Award-winning band celebrates its 'silver anniversary' in 2020 – they started out in 1995 – although their last studio album, Concrete and Gold, was released two-and-a-half years ago.
Led by Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters – Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee – are largely considered one of the best modern American rock bands on earth, and will be the curtain act for the concert by Yungblud, a rising star in British pop-rock, and by Honeyblood, part of the lo-fi movement.
Fans will be looking forward to hearing classic Foo Fighter tracks like Everlong, The Pretender and The Best of You, from its nine studio albums which have sold 27 million copies in the last quarter-century.
Entries are on sale via Ticketmaster.es and Livenation.es.
