A KEY supermarket chain is seeking new employees aged 45 and over for the Christmas and New Year rush, with at least 50 vacancies all over the country.
Jobs offered by Lidl include checkout and shelf-stacking positions, sales managers, store managers, and general store assistants, and can be found in Málaga, Valencia, Murcia, Tenerife, the Balearic Islands, Girona, Madrid, A Coruña, Ourense, Asturias, Sevilla, Segovia, Barcelona, Álava, Huesca, Zaragoza, Teruel, Navarra, and Badajoz.
Lidl's head offices in Montcada i Reixac need merchandise admin, merchandise technician and HR consultant staff.
Part-time, 20- or 22-hour weeks, and full-time 40-hour weeks are available, and candidates need to be flexible to enable them to work shifts, rotating between mornings and afternoons or evenings, as well as being capable of working as a team.
Previous experience in a similar rôle is welcome, but not essential.
The only qualifications needed are compulsory high school exam passes.
Wages are €8.85 an hour for store staff, meaning a 20-hour week will pay approximately €700 a month after tax, a 22-hour week would earn a net monthly salary of about €790, and a full-time, 40-hour week would mean a take-home pay of roughly €1,272 per month.
