Rescue teams are continuing the search for three people missing after their 4x4 was swept away late last night by flood waters (photo) as they were driving home along the camino de Vilafortuny in the village of Cambrils (Tarragona). The only passenger to escape from the vehicle was a 14 year old boy who managed to pull himself out through the back passenger window with the help of his uncle. Local police were called to the scene where they found the vehicle with nobody inside. It is feared that the boy´s missing uncle and parents, having also escaped through the car windows, were swept out to sea. The family is from Andorra but were spending their summer holidays, as usual, in the popular coastal resort just south of Salou.
