National Police officers attached to the Costa del Sol Organised Crime Unit arrested 58 year old Brian Brendon Wright in Marbella yesterday. Wright is believed to have been the boss of a criminal network and one of the most wanted drug traffickers in the UK, has been on the run from justice for the last ten years, and featured in a BBC documentary about the UK´s ten richest criminals. He was arrested in an Interpol operation involving British and Spanish police forces, and now faces charges of heading up a drug trafficking empire responsible for importing tonnes of cocaine into the UK with a market value of several hundred thousand pounds.
