In Spanish, Los Gigantes means 'The Giants' and that obviously refers to the massive volcanic cliffs that dominate the area.

The town of Los Gigantes has everything that you'll need, banks, bars, restaurants and small supermarkets and within a short walk or drive you've got the larger national supermarkets.

Los Gigantes has its own marina which is really popular and there are also a number of beaches within reasonably easy walk of most areas of the town.

It can be a bit hilly in places, so that'll need a bit of consideration, but of course, hills can mean views, so there's always a silver lining to everything here.

Restaurants abound offering international cuisine as well as plenty of traditional Canarian food, most of which are excellent.
