Traditional large town house in the heart of Sax

This property dates back 82 years according to the land registry, however it is in fantastic condition, it shows the pride of craftsmen who originally built its. It has of course been maintained well over the years, but things such as the hand carved wooden bannister, and hand made floor tiles in the bedrooms, have stood the test of time.

From street level the old wooden door leads into a reception room, with 1 large bedroom to the left. There is then a communal living area where the stairs lead up to the next floor. There is then another small living space which leads to the galley style kitchen. The kitchen has been updated, however the wooden doors throughout the house are originals.

Living requirements have change over the years, and now I would imagine that a new owner would like to open up the ground floor bedroom and living room to create a large lounge, and have all of the bedrooms upstairs.

The back door leads out to a small patio, and then to a fantastic BBQ room. Some steps lead down to two under build rooms below the whole structure. Sax is a medium sized town with all amenities. 6 or 7 supermarkets, various butchers, bakeries, hardware stores, building traders. About fifty tapas bars. Not being a tourist town, it remains lively all year round. There is an expat community, most living here year round in the surrounding countryside. The city has a rich history and is known for its food, wine and impressive castle.

Public transport to Alicante includes regular bus and train services, as well as a direct motorway located just 30 minutes from the beach or the airport. Benidorm at 1 hour. Located on the Costa Blanca, one of the best climates on the Spanish peninsula, over 300 sunny days a year.
