The situation of the property is a haven of tranquility and scenic splendour. Golden oriols make up a wonderful number of garden birds whilst vultures, eagles and kites soar overhead. The neighbouring land is planted with cork oak trees and olive groves.

The hamlet of La Tojera is 2km away with a road crossing into Portugal and a delightful small family run convenience shop. El Marco, another tiny hamlet, is split across the border between Spain and Portugal and is famous for hosting the smallest international bridge in the world. This area offers wonderful walking and hiking, natural swimming in rivers with waterfalls and the best of two countries on your doorstep. La Codosera is 6km away offering supermarkets, household and DIY stores, cafes, a veterinary clinic and health centre and pharmacy. There is a small sports centre, municipal swimming pool and natural swimming pool in the Gévora river.

The house is set back off the main road down a short dirt track; secluded yet with houses around. It was renovated and completed upgraded in 1976 and features underfloor heating, a log-burner and all doors and windows are double-glazed providing a cosy, warm house in winter and a cool retreat in summer. It is in very good condition and has been well maintained. There are three double bedrooms, one family bathroom with walk-in shower and full-size bath and a shower-room en-suite to the main bedroom.
