After following in the footsteps of famous romantic writers, I discovered this little corner where I could live. I decided to create this house in which to enjoy great moments, return to that rural world that fascinates me so much, and seek that balance between character and comfort, closeness with local trade, and contact with nature.

The house has been completely renovated to offer its owners an original and pleasant space in which to enjoy great moments of relaxation. It is located in Dúrcal, a charming town south of Granada. The interior of the building shows a rural but renovated style that is complemented by a careful decoration elaborated by hand that includes various wooden details, original brick pillars, and marble countertops. The main windows and doors are made of solid pine wood with double glazing and water-based varnish for exteriors.

Upon entering the house, we find a fully equipped living room-kitchen, with a dining room and direct access to a patio of almost 70 square meters with grass, a well-cared variety of plants, and an outdoor seating area with a barbecue for the family. It has a high-power biomass stove with three hot air outlets (living room, master bedroom, and corridor on the upper floor). We also have a shower room downstairs with a storage area. Going up to the first floor, we discover a spacious bathroom with a double sink made of wood. Along the corridor there are three very bright double bedrooms, one of them with a balcony to the patio and a dressing room.

The Lecrín Valley is a unique place located 25 minutes from Granada and the Alhambra, 25 minutes from the beach, and 60 minutes from the Sierra Nevada ski resort. An absolutely wonderful place located to the southwest of the Sierra Nevada and known for the impressive contrast of the green color of the mountains with the thousands of orange trees in the valley. A blanket of intense orange that floods the valley, filling its small towns known as the white towns of Granada with an exquisite smell of orange blossom. In this fascinating valley you can walk among orange and lemon trees, practice water activities in the reservoir, delve into its rivers, enjoy its gastronomy, and experience the tranquility of its streets.
