Villa for sale in Tiana, Barcelona

Unique neoclassical style villa located in the heart of Tiana, built in 1850 and renovated in 2014. Its construction provides the feeling of having an elevated position that offers great views, to the old town, the church and the sea in the background. It stands on a plot of 3,125 sqm and has a built area of 892 sqm. Some neoclassical architectural elements preserved in the property are: balustrades, hydrias, ornamental garlands, small panels with sculptures, or sculptural groups such as the one that crowns the building. During the renovation, which lasted 4 years, these original elements have been taken into account to be respected, the frescoes on the walls and the spectacular dome have been painted by hand. The marble used is from India, Italy and Brazil, the floor combines oak wood with hydraulic tiles, original wooden beams, etc.

Its main facade is also one of the elements that stands out for its neoclassical style, with the central piece being a little more advanced than the sides. In front of this main entrance of the villa, we can access a terrace at the height of the first floor through the two large staircases. Inside, on the main floor, a charming hall leads us towards an amazing 50sqm living room with a central dome that reflects light throughout the room. In the left wing we find the master suite with fireplace and exit to private terrace, bathroom with large whirlpool tub, large dressing room and reading room, also with a fireplace. On the right side, we can find another bedroom suite, and a living room, called 'dragon room' with large windows and a fireplace specially designed for this space. This floor has access to the back of the garden where the summer porch is located, surrounded by rose bushes.

On the lower floor, there is a dining room for 26 guests, with walls designed only by the owners, with combined wood panels of American pine, mahogany, maple and teak. There is also an air-conditioned wine cellar, a pantry with a wood-burning oven, and a spectacular industrial kitchen with heavy-duty flooring. This space is equipped with a professional plate warmer, beverage fridge, separate freezer and tepanyaki, among other elements.

The upper part of the villa occupies a large open room with sloping wooden ceilings, three bedrooms and a bathroom. From there you can access the roof terrace of the property, where you can enjoy wonderful views of the sea and the entire town of Tiana.

Besides, we find that the villa has a service area with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. So, the villa has a total of 9 bedrooms (two complete suites) and 8 bathrooms. In addition, we can find a magnificent swimming pool in the garden, chlorinated with saline solution. The system uses salt to generate chlorine gas through electrolysis, which dissolves immediately in the water and disinfects it. It is an ecological and environmentally friendly cycle, since the hypochlorite generated is converted back into salt (the salt level in salt pools is 1/10 of the concentration of salt found in the sea). There is also open parking spaces for 8 cars.

As a plus, we highlight that the villa has: air conditioning hot/cold, Fontini switches, Duravit sanitary ware, Samuel Heath and Dornbracht faucets, service bell in all rooms, etc. There is the possibility of acquiring the property fully equipped and furnished, with its unique and exclusive pieces.
