Villa for sale in Els Guiamets, Tarragona

A village house in need of partial renovation—specifically the roof. It is possible to live on the first floor while work is being carried out, as the property is currently occupied and in use.
Given its size, layout, and location, it is ideal as either a primary residence or a holiday home.
The house offers 370 m² of built area distributed across three floors of 110 m² each. It is south-facing, enjoying abundant natural light throughout the day, open mountain views, and several pleasant outdoor areas, including a garden and a terrace.
It is an older house—occupied until recently—that has benefited from system upgrades: the entire drainage system has been overhauled, much of the electrical wiring has been renewed, and the plumbing has undergone partial renovations. These improvements complement the home's traditional village character.
It is located in the center of the village—a quiet municipality of about 300 inhabitants—right in the heart of the Priorat region. Priorat is one of the most beautiful, authentic, and mystical areas in all of Catalonia. Forget the overcrowded coast; here, the landscape shifts completely, drawing you into an inland enclave of Tarragona province that feels frozen in time. Its visual allure lies in the perfect blend of wild nature, medieval stone villages, and a landscape sculpted by human endeavor.
The region is renowned for its wine and is the only one in Spain—aside from La Rioja—to hold the DOQ designation. It offers various hiking trails and cycling routes. The Priorat landscape is defined by the imposing silhouette of the Serra del Montsant, which draws rock climbers from across Europe. At the same time, it is just 40 minutes from the Costa Daurada; this makes it possible to spend one day in the mountains and the next at one of Catalonia’s most beautiful coves or beaches.
