Hidden gem of a villa, very close to the town of Sax, hidden amongst its trees, very private but not isolated.

You enter via a tree-lined driveway to find the house surrounded by gardens. A large terrace and an 8 x 4 m pool are located in front of the house, with an outside kitchen, BBQ, small pond, aviary, and casita. There are two wooden cabins in the gardens plus a third attached to the house for storage.

You enter the house via a large enclosed terrace / summer room with big windows opening to the terrace and pool area, providing sun and shade all year round. Through a door to the generous hallway and another door to the living room, with a wood burning stove. Doors lead to the bedrooms and bathroom plus the kitchen.

Bedroom 1 has two rooms, one leading on from the other, suitable for a home office, children’s room, or a large dressing room.
Bedroom 2 has two rooms, another large area suitable for a dressing room plus a big bedroom with an original open fireplace and an air conditioning unit.
Bedroom 3 is a single room with built-in wardrobe space and leads on from the first room.

Off the living room is a large bathroom with toilet, large sink, and a walk-in shower.

From the living room a door leads to the very big kitchen/dining room, with a fully built-in rustic style kitchen, air conditioning unit, a huge wood burning stove with oven, and a large glass door leading to a further fourth bedroom or store room (currently used as a large pantry).

Outside there is a separate casita with a kitchen/living room and a fifth bedroom. There is currently no bathroom, but one can be added to the rear of the casita where there is a covered space.

There are two entrances to the property for vehicle access. The gardens are mature and well planted with many trees, plus an orchard area with various fruit trees. At the bottom of the garden there is an area with animal shelters for chickens, rabbits, ducks, goats, etc., plus a polytunnel of 40 m² for growing vegetables. The property also has 250 olive trees in three different areas, producing over 100 litres of oil last year.

The house was built in 1995 and has been well maintained, though the central heating boiler and air conditioning units do need a full service.

Lovely views of Sax castle from the rear of the house. The town is a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk. Alicante airport, city, and beaches are about 30 minutes’ drive.
