Can Picafort is located in the northeast of the island of Mallorca, directly on the Playa de Muro. In contrast to the west of the island with the Palma city center and the luxury resorts Andratx, Santa Ponsa and Portals Nous, a great deal of value is placed here on peace and privacy in the northeast. Luxury is not flaunted here—it is enjoyed quietly.
The landscape is still intact in many areas. Excessive development and concrete construction on the island has been prevented. You can also hear talk of the “grain basket of the island.” Here, many agricultural products are grown and sold at the weekly markets of the individual towns.
