Business for sale in Puerto de Alcudia, Alcúdia, Mallorca

An established sailing school and watersports centre is offered for sale in the Port of Alcudia (Mallorca), one of the most recognised and well-established tourist destinations in the north of the island.

With more than 35 years of continuous operation, the business has become a recognised name in watersports activities and sailing instruction, with an excellent reputation and consistently positive reviews across online platforms.

The business operates under an exclusive private concession valid until 2030, with the possibility of extension, providing legal stability and operational continuity without depending on public tender processes. The main operating season runs from April to October, benefiting from strong demand from both domestic and international visitors.

The centre has comprehensive facilities, including a fully equipped office and reception area, changing rooms, storage facilities, workshop, kitchen and staff accommodation.

The sale includes an extensive range of owned watersports equipment, including sailing boats (catamarans, training dinghies and Lasers), kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, Big SUPs, windsurfing equipment, floating platforms, water bikes, eFoils and a full range of auxiliary equipment.

It also includes a Whaly 435 support boat with a 40 HP engine, a designated buoyed navigation channel and an operational beach area. The required licences, permits and insurance policies are in place.

One of the business’s key competitive advantages is its significant operational capacity, with the ability to accommodate up to 130 participants simultaneously. This makes the centre particularly well suited to school groups, summer camps, MICE groups, corporate events and other large-scale activities.

The sale offers a proven, structured and fully operational business model, ready for immediate continuation, with verifiable turnover and genuine growth potential through the expansion of services and/or extension of the operating season.

The current owners are committed to providing a comprehensive handover and knowledge transfer, supporting the new owner during the first few months to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of the business.

The main reason for the sale is the retirement of the centre’s long-standing director.

An ideal opportunity for investors, watersports companies, tourism operators or entrepreneurs looking to acquire a profitable and well-established business in one of the Mediterranean’s most attractive tourist destinations.

This business is being offered for sale directly from the owner.
