Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) boards can be rented in various places in the area, and water activities such as flyboarding, banana boating, jet skis and much more are offered on various beaches.

Hospital and health services
In Torrevieja there is a modern public hospital with a very good reputation. The Quirón Hospital is a private hospital also located in Torrevieja.

The Mar Menor Lagoon, located about 20 minutes away by car, is one of the largest saltwater lagoons in Europe with a maximum depth of approximately 7 metres.
The high salt content in the water provides a microclimate that is conducive to health, especially for people with heart problems, gout or lung diseases. The salt mud bath is also renowned for its relief from skin diseases such as psoriasis, and is recommended by several specialists.

Access
Major towns in the area can be easily reached via the A-7 motorway or the N-332 coastal road, such as Elche, Alicante, Valencia, Murcia and Cartagena, to name a few. The airport in both Alicante and Murcia are about 50 minutes away by car in both directions.
