The annual "Moors and Christians" fiesta held each April is said to be the largest village procession in Andalucía.

Baza is a big bustling town with schools, a theatre, gyms, outdoor and indoor pools, big supermarkets, a hospital etc.

It´s around 1h30 from the coast and 25 minutes (30km) away from Lake Negratin which has beach areas.
