The Serpis River forms the boundary of the municipality to the east; through a narrow strip of land, to the north it reaches the Vernisa River.

The climate is mild: hot summers and somewhat mild winters. The prevailing winds are vent de baix and Ponent.

On rainy days and, in general, the entire municipality is covered in woodland, with orange trees predominating in the cultivated areas and pine in the mountains. The town lies at the foot of the mountains. From Valencia, access is via the N-332 to connect with the CV-686 and the CV-685.
