Description
Development of a residential complex of 172 homes in La Hoya - Torrevieja, spread over 6 blocks. The homes have 2 or 3 bedrooms, all with 2 bathrooms, and face south or west. The blocks are designed to overlook the extensive communal areas. Ground floor homes feature private gardens, mid-floor units have spacious terraces, and top-floor units have private sun terraces.
The communal areas are designed to offer a wide range of services and recreational spaces: extensive gardens with ornamental plants, a communal swimming pool for adults and children, paddle tennis courts, children's play areas, a gym, a spa-wellness area, outdoor fitness equipment for health-promoting activities, and bicycle parking in various locations. Solar panels are being installed to reduce the residential's electricity consumption, and the parking spaces are pre-installed for charging equipment.
Torrevieja and nearby La Hoya together form a dynamic destination on the Costa Blanca, combining natural beauty and vibrant city life.
The unique natural wealth
The area is internationally renowned for the spectacular Parque Natural de las Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja. This nature park is home to the famous salt lakes, of which the Salina de Torrevieja periodically takes on a striking pink color, caused by algae and bacteria. It's an excellent place to walk or cycle and observe salt extraction and countless bird species, including majestic flamingos. For a quieter, greener experience, the Parque del Molino del Agua, with its fossil dunes and umbrella pines, is ideal.
The culinary heart: sea and salt
Torrevieja's cuisine is linked to the sea and salt extraction, resulting in honest and fresh dishes. The specialty is the “wet” rice dish Arroz Caldero, a creamy rice dish cooked in a rich fish broth, often served with fish. Rice is the foundation of many regional dishes, such as the many variations of paella and Arroz a Banda. Fresh seafood is ubiquitous due to the coastal location. Try local salted fish known as Salazones (such as Mojama or salted tuna), or grilled fish. For a more substantial meal, there's the hearty stew Cocido con pelotas, a traditional dish with large, seasoned meatballs. Along the promenade and in the harbor, there are numerous tapas bars and restaurants where you can sample these local delicacies, often accompanied by a glass of local wine.
Beach life, history, and city entertainment
The coastline offers a diverse selection of beaches. Playa de La Mata attracts with its wide, expansive stretch of sand. In the heart of the city, you'll find urban beaches such as Playa del Cura. Historically, the city is tangible through the Dique de Levante, the long pier with the lighthouse, and in the Museo del Mar y de la Sal, which showcases the rich maritime history.
Recreation and entertainment are also plentiful. The large city park, Jardín de las Naciones, offers green relaxation. The weekly Friday market is a must-visit for experiencing local produce and the atmosphere. Torrevieja is also a perfect base for golf enthusiasts, with several top courses, such as Las Colinas, just a short drive away.
Within a radius of 5 km you will find all conceivable amenities such as beaches of Torrevieja and La Mata, commercial centres with boutiques, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, golf courses, banks, post office, centro salud and university hospital of Torrevieja, Quiron hospital, cosmetics and wellness centres, etc. The location is accessible and can be reached from Alicante airport via the AP-7 in about 35 minutes, and from Murcia in about 50 minutes.
