La Casa Pinta, also known in some documents as Palacio de Machín, is a civil construction of great historical and architectural value, probably the most outstanding civil building in the Real Valle de Guriezo.

Historically, it belonged to don Juan Antonio Machín in 1772 (from whom the name Palacio de Machín also derives).

During the mid-20th century, it was also visited or lived in seasonally by relevant personalities, as mentioned in local sources (for example, the late Duke of Alba).

Possibly built on the remains of a historic tower or earlier building.

An engraved coat of arms can be seen on the façade. The façade originally featured pictorial ornamentation with vegetal and geometric motifs (hence its popular name Casa Pinta).

The palace has a T-shaped structure, with a rectangular central body, topped by two higher side wings, in the form of towers. In this area are the main rooms: 3 parlors, 6 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, as well as the kitchen and several unused rooms and spaces with many possibilities.
