It is a rural location offering peace and tranquility, yet all the everyday services you need such as two small supermarkets, medical centre, chemist, vets, post office, banks, a gym, padel tennis courts, hair and beauty salons, small shops and an array of pavement cafe and tapas bars plus restaurants are here. There is a local street market on Saturdays. The larger town of Albox is less than 10 minutes' drive away and offers larger shops, supermarkets, 24 hour medical centre, cinema, sports centres, many more cafes, tapas bars and restaurants, and a weekly street market on Tuesdays. The Med coast is 20 to 30 minutes' drive via excellent motorway connections, and there are three international airports within an easy commute, Almeria and Murcia an hour in each direction, and Alicante 2 hours.
