The medieval complex of Pals has been awarded the National Prize for Fine Arts and Tourism and the Medal of Honor for Tourism of Catalonia.

Its medieval old quarter, popularly known as El Pedró, is a masterpiece of architectural restoration, preserving 15th-century buildings such as the medieval wall and the Clock Tower. In its streets you will find Gothic and Romanesque buildings, as well as various art galleries and small craft shops.

Pals Beach is wide and sandy, with unique panoramic views, ideal for enjoying with the family, practicing water sports, walking, relaxing, or simply taking in the scenery and the magnificent views, with the Medes Islands in the background.

Due to its great length, it is divided into two sectors. To the north is Platja del Grau, calm, shallow, with fine golden sand, which connects southward with Platja Gran, deeper and with coarser sand.
