Undeveloped Land for sale in Antigua, Fuerteventura

36.737 m2 of agricultural land near the small sports airport between Los Alares and Antigua in the center of Fuerteventura. The land was originally designated for development, but many years ago it was reclassified as agricultural land.

The plot is located on a paved road and electricity is at the property, but the connection must be applied for. The connection is provided through a small project that describes the use of the plot and the electricity needed for it. Since water is located on the road, an application for a connection can also be made with the municipal utilities (city works).

The second access road bordering the property is a field path that leads to the sports airport. A natural stone wall borders the land along the road.

The interior of the island used to be the granary of the Canary Islands, because the soil is very fertile. All it takes is a bit of water; after some time, compost is produced and everything grows. Today, more and more is being invested in agriculture, and among other things olive trees, Aloe Vera, grapes and also potatoes are being grown, with good yields and sales.

Water for agricultural purposes can be subsidized—after an application—and is therefore very cheap. Potatoes or tomatoes from the island are in high demand and are often sold out quickly. Farming is worthwhile today, especially when people are increasingly focusing again on food from the surrounding area.
