It is an unspoilt and historical village situated on the northern point of the beautiful Negratin Lake, with a doctor’s surgery, dentist, chemist, two supermarkets, bakery, butchers, fishmongers, a large municipal swimming pool (July–Sept), two banks, two mechanics, a petrol station, and several bars serving excellent local food.
