Finca/Country House for sale in Albox, Almería

Two properties for the price of one - unique opportunity for those seeking a rural lifestyle or looking to create a guest business in a truly peaceful setting.

Situated in the El Saliente area of Albox, these two separate properties offer excellent potential for a rural hotel or retreat, with the benefit of separate owner accommodation. The location is remote via a 3.6km dirt track (10 minute drive), but you're just 5.2km from a bar-restaurant, 6.2km from a local shop, 7km from a village with essential amenities, and around 25–30 minutes from the bustling market town of Albox. We would recommend a 4x4 to access but you can get there in an SUV or normal car.

The first dwelling, a detached bungalow, includes an open-plan living space, a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a bathroom. Heating is provided by wood-burning stoves in both the lounge and the double bedroom. The bungalow now has new windows, it has been rewired, plumbing is now in working order, it has a generator for electric and a water deposit.

The main farmhouse was renovated in the past but would need further renovation. The original wooden front door opens into a generous open-plan living area, with a lounge area featuring a traditional open fireplace, and a kitchen-dining area to the other. Off this room is an internal hallway giving access to a ground floor double bedroom, a storage area, a second lounge or games room, and another large room with high ceilings offering flexible use. There is also a further space that could easily be converted into a second kitchen, with direct access to a private walled patio and the front of the property. Upstairs, the first floor comprises a good-sized landing, a bathroom, a single bedroom, two double bedrooms, and a spacious master bedroom with access to a private sun terrace. Traditional wooden beams run throughout the house, and downstairs has been finished with terracotta floor tiles. Additionally, there’s a raised room accessed from the patio that could be transformed.

The plot surrounding the properties is mainly all flat offering space for parking, seating areas and gardens. There is ample space to install a swimming pool if desired, and the views from the property are absolutely breath-taking—stretching across the surrounding hills and valleys in complete silence and privacy.
