On the site of the original Cortijo de Pitel, in the river valley between Moclín and Tózar, a new property was nearing completion. The existing property on the site consists of two parts: a ruin of the former cortijo and the more contemporary mill-house that has subsequently suffered at the hands of the elements. This is a project, as half of the more recently constructed house is no longer structurally sound and it may be more straightforward to use the existing footprint to rebuild the property from the foundations up.

The house that was most recently constructed has 3 large reception rooms, a separate kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and that is without any work being done to the ruined cortijo. This latter part of the property could be restored to create another 3 or 4 bedroom house for holiday rentals, perhaps.
