You can walk and cycle along the canal next to the town.

There is a wide variety of bars and restaurants, both Spanish and international. The Wednesday street market is a great opportunity to buy locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables, hams, cheeses, olives, clothes and shoes.

There is a good local taxi service, with buses running several times daily to Torrevieja, Orihuela and Murcia. Alicante and Murcia airports are both approximately 40 minutes’ drive away. Internet services are generally fast (fibre-optic) and reliable.
