The coves, beaches and cliffs that make up its coast are bathed by the Mediterranean Sea. One of its emblematic beaches is called Burriana. The coves of Calahonda and La Caletilla surround one of the tourist attractions of Nerja, the Balcony of Europe (popular symbol of Nerja).
