That place was Bellamar, in Castelldefels. Welcome to Blauwe Horizon. There he found this unique 170 m² property, located in one of the most exclusive areas of the Mediterranean, where nature embraces architecture and each sunrise recalls the luminous edge of an open horizon. As if it were the refuge of a great navigator, Arjen used to say that a true sailor can only live in a home that has views of departure and return. From its 40 m² terrace, all of Castelldefels unfolds before your eyes, the sea in its fullness and, at the rear, direct access to the Garraf Natural Park, a secret door to trails of ancient explorers' routes. The spacious living room, with direct access to the terrace, was his terrestrial observatory. There he wrote in his notebooks while the light changed as it did on the bridges of his ships. The open, bright kitchen, facing the blue horizon, reminded him of the early mornings aboard the Zeemeeuw, where he prepared strong coffee while the crew was still asleep.
