About Us

Know Nerja Real Estate & Services is led by Katy De Csanady McEwen, an English professional fluent in Spanish and French, with a solid working level of German. As a qualified translator and interpreter, and with over 30 years of experience in the local property market — plus more than five years working alongside lawyers — I launched my own agency in August 2025 to offer a more personal, attentive service.

We specialise in tailored property searches, identifying the best opportunities for each client and advising on how a home can be adapted to meet individual needs. We collaborate with trusted estate agents across the Eastern Costa del Sol, the Costa Tropical, and the surrounding inland villages in both Málaga and Granada provinces.

In addition to property sales, we can manage the full conveyancing process when required.

Our translation and interpreting department offers professional assistance with Notary procedures, including the drafting and signing of your Spanish Last Will & Testament, where the presence of a certified translator is essential. We also provide support with government offices, medical appointments, and accurate written translations of title deeds and other important documents—ensuring your solicitor and family abroad remain fully informed.
