Living in Jávea
The port of Jávea goes back to the 15th century, and from the late 19th century fishing became its main activity. You can still watch the boats come in and the catch being auctioned at the fish market. Beside the port lies La Grava, a gravel beach of about 290 m with a seafront promenade. From there the old town is about 2 km by road.
