Note on the urban planning status:
The Golf Costa Brava development (Santa Cristina d'Aro) is currently subject to a municipal moratorium on the granting of building permits. Although the new urban planning regulations were approved in January 2026, the issuance of new permits is currently conditional upon the prior handover/acceptance of the development by the Town Council. It is unknown how long this will take to be resolved and it may extend for several years. Consequently, it is not possible to obtain a building permit immediately.
