All daily necessities can be found on foot in the village. La Mata has a small centre, a church square, a weekly market on Wednesdays and enormous stretches of beaches that are known as the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Costa Blanca. The beach 'Playa la Mata' is less than 100 metres away. Of course, during your holiday, if it falls within the period from 14 May to 14 October, you can use the large communal swimming pool with children's pool. There is also a nicely landscaped park next to the residence with a playground for small children, a sports field and jeu de boules courts.
