The Costa de la Luz boasts many of the best beaches in Spain. The Doñana National Park, which stretches out on both sides of the seven km-long promenade of Matalascañas, allows no developments outside of the town, and empty stretches of beach can be found along the 50 km-long sandy beach even in the summer months. You find extensive dunes on one side of Matalascañas, and on the other are scenic sandstone cliffs and nudist beaches.
