Canals is a busy working Spanish town with all the amenities you need for daily living. Canals is situated 35/40 minutes inland from Gandia with its shopping, numerous bars / restaurants / cafes, historic buildings, numerous blue flag beaches and even its own palace. From the port in two and a half hours you can be in Ibiza, Majorca or Menorca. The local village is 2km away and has local shops such as a butchers, greengrocers, banks, pharmacy, bars / cafes, three supermarkets and a daily fresh market. This is also where you will find the nearest schools.

The larger historic town of Xativa is 10 minutes away with all the shops etc that you would expect from a larger Spanish working town, buzzing nightlife, numerous banks, shops, supermarkets even including its own castle.
