The 14th century mill was restored in 1993 and built on Roman ruins. It is one of the largest grain mills on the island.

Tastefully restored, it was built with Mallorcan materials and lovingly reconstructed with Mallorcan materials and according to traditional Mallorcan craftsmanship. Materials include natural sandstone from the Mares, marble and hand-fired terracotta floors. Underfloor heating was also installed in the main vaults of the mill.
