The Sierra de Las Villas, where the house is located, is the least known and also most virgin part of the Reserve. In this nature park with its high mountain ridges flows the Guadalquivir, Andalusia's longest river. With its rough plateaus and green valleys, spectacular waterfalls, crystal clear streams and water basins, this unspoiled area is a paradise with rich flora and fauna. The views are breathtaking and on a clear day you can see the snow covered peaks of the Sierra Nevada. At a distance of one hour are the monumental cities Ubeda and Baeza, with beautiful inner cities where its palaces and stately squares in Renaissance style reflect a rich history. Both cities are on the Unesco world list of Cultural Heritage.
