In the lounge there is also a large air conditioning machine that provides hot or cold air sufficient for all of the living space.

Apart from the main house we have several outbuildings, one being a barbeque or summer kitchen, and then an entertainment room for when friends and family visit. There is also a workshop and car port.

We have an 8x4 swimming pool which is in the process of having a stone wall built around it. There is some hard surface around the house with mature trees for shade, a small garden area, and then an olive orchard.

All of the neighbors live here all year around because of the proximity to town as opposed to being weekend or summer properties. The property and grounds do require some TLC, but the location makes this a very interesting property.

Villena is a medium size market town with rich culture and history, known well for its stunning moorish castle, and wine bodegas it is renowned for fantastic wine.

There are bus routes, and train routes to Alicante, and the high speed railway that links Alicante to Madrid

The town celebrates many festivals throughout the year, as well as a medieval fair, Moors and Christians there is a week long rock festival, and a variety of live concerts from international artists. The reformed bull ring is now used for cultural activities.

If motorsports are of interest then there is also a go cart track 5 minutes drive away where it is not unusual to find high level motorcycle riders including some Moto GP stars practicing from time to time, and regular national level motorcycle racing events. Within this complex there is a fabulous restaurant, bars, disco and various attractions.
