Local shopping areas and restaurants abound, including Via Park I & II, La Zenia Boulevard, La Florida, Flamenca Beach commercial centre and the shopping centre around the town hall, all within 10–15 minutes’ walk of the property.
Within these areas you can find supermarkets, cafés, bars and restaurants (a wide and varied selection of international cuisine is available), banks, and town hall (doctor and dentist).
There is an excellent street market held every Saturday where you can buy just about anything. It is one of the biggest and best markets on the whole of the Costa Blanca.
Approximately 20 minutes’ walk (a few minutes by car) from the villa are two lovely beaches. A third beach along the coast at La Zenia offers water sports during high season (jet ski, banana boat and pedaloes).
Sport on land is also available with bike hire, and go-karts. The go-karts area also has quad bikes, a café, and offers a service for picking up customers from within the Playa Flamenca area.
Golfers have the option of three 18-hole golf courses within 10 minutes’ drive of the villa; another superb course, La Finca, is within 20 minutes’ drive; and the world-famous La Manga golf complex is only 45 minutes’ drive south. Beauty and nail treatments are available within a 5-minute drive at Eduardo’s de la Finca.
