To reserve the property, an initial payment of two months rent as a security deposit is required (to be returned within the legally established timeframe, after the property has been handed over to the owner, provided that its condition is the same as when it was handed over to the tenant and that the terms of the rental agreement are met).
Law 12/2023, of May 24, on the right to housing, was approved by the Congress on April 27, 2023, and by the Senate on May 18, 2023.
