Ariana Grande's tour cancellation includes Barcelona Palau Sant Jordi date
ARIANA Grande's Dangerous Woman Tour has been called off until at least the end of June, although as yet no official communication about the Barcelona date has been released.

The US-born star's announcement of her European tour cancellation is assumed to affect the concert at the Palau Sant Jordi in the Catalunya capital on June 13 – Ariana's only show in Spain – but notification has not been published as yet.

Fans do not yet know whether they will receive a refund on their tickets, although this seems likely and those who had bought their entry are awaiting news from the star's manager, Scooter Braun.

A press release from Braun says: “We're all crying for the lives of the children and their loved ones which have been snatched away by this act of cowardice.”

Music magazine TMZ cited sources close to Ariana and say she is 'hysterical' and 'devastated' following the attack, and unable to bring herself to see anyone official at the moment.

Both Ariana and her team are concerned about her own safety as well as those of her fans.

Dates in the UK, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, France, Portugal and Italy have been axed, and it is thought Ariana's tour will resume in summer with her planned concerts in Latin America, Asia and Oceania.

The singer's mother is said to have sheltered at least 10 young fans in her daughter's cubicle during the horrific attack.

Spanish president Mariano Rajoy, his nearest rival – PSOE leader Pedro Sánchez – King Felipe VI and foreign affairs minister Alfonso Dastis have all sent messages to the UK with their condolences.

“I saw a man with no ear and covered in blood”

A young fan, Solomon Adams, who was at the concert, told www.thinkspain.com: “My girlfriend and I and two of our friends were seated down the bottom, about 20 feet from Ariana. She as incredible all night. Such a huge shame that this was the climax.

“We saw a guy with no ear all, covered in blood, and a man with what I now understand to be some sort of shrapnel wound in his stomach, again all covered in blood.

“Many others were running and had blood on them.

“I only stopped shaking towards the early hours of the morning.

“We are okay, though. That's what matters most. We managed to get out of the arena in under a minute, which is remarkable to say the least.

“The staff at the MEN and the emergency services last night were impeccable.”

As yet, no Spaniards are thought to be among the injured or deceased, and the victims are so far thought to be British and Polish.

The European Commission flew all 28 of its flags at half-mast today as a show of support for the EU's outgoing member, which has been rocked by its second-worst terror attack since the London massacre on July 7, 2005, which claimed 55 victims.

This is the second major attack in Manchester in 21 years – many of Ariana's young fans were not yet born when the IRA bombed the city in 1996, although it left an indelible mark on their parents.
