CATALUNYA'S now-ex president Carles Puigdemont could be on the streets of every town in Spain on Tuesday night – in fact, crowds of Puigdemonts may be spotted all at once.
That's because Hallowe'en costumes depicting the Junts pel Sí leader – who officially lost his job last night – have sold out across Spain.
Fancy dress manufacturer Casa del Disfraz says the outfit it calls the 'Puiglítico' is now out of stock, meaning it is guaranteed to be seen on Spain's streets in the thousands once the spooky party night kicks off.
The full garb, comprising jacket, glasses and a wig modelled on Puigdemont's characteristic floppy Beatle haircut, costs €39.95.
Other wig-and-glasses costume sets for Hallowe'en which are supposed to be of one of the Beatles have sold out because they look sufficiently like Puigdemont, in buyers' opinion, to serve as a parody of the former Catalunya president.
