Presenter Cristina Pedroche in 'The Guardian' wedding dress report
A WELL-KNOWN Spanish TV presenter has been showcased in British broadsheet The Guardian in a bridalwear article, thrusting her now-famous New Year's Eve outfit into the spotlight once again.

Cristina Pedroche presented the chimes on the last night of 2017 on Spain's third channel, Antena 3, wearing an all-in-one suit of near-transparent netting with lacy floral patterns in strategic places, making headlines worldwide.

The unusual and daring outfit was created by the nationwide wedding dress designers, Pronovias.

Pedroche's picture has now appeared in a Wedding dresses: Shortcuts piece in The Guardian titled From 'secretly bare' to 'comedy nude': a guide to the naked wedding dress, and mentions that the store Grace Loves Lace, which designed the most-pinned dress on the planet on Pinterest, has seen a 30% hike in orders for bridalwear made from transparent material.

The article, by Morwenna Ferrier, reveals that although Pedroche's all-in-one, made from chantilly lace with over 200 crystals, 'barely covers 6% of her body', it took 244 hours to make – an average of one crystal sewn on per hour.
