EUROVISION contestant Edurne has announced plans to move to the UK to be nearer her boyfriend of eight years, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
His 32-year-old partner Edurne García Almagro has made the decision to move overseas, even though she will still have to commute to Madrid for work.
She is currently a judge on Telecinco's reality show Got Talent, a Spanish spin-off of the original Britain's Got Talent.
The Madrid-born singer represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 with Amanecer ('Sunrise'), but only came 21st.
Edurne told the celebrity gossip magazine Diez Minutos that she and her footballer partner were 'very happy together' and were 'more in love every day', but had no plans to get married and, for the foreseeable future at least, do not intend to have children.
De Gea – who will be 28 next month – was just 19 when he and Edurne became a couple, and the singer and TV presenter was 24.
