Lucena is a municipality in Córdoba, 67 kilometers from the provincial capital. It is located at an important road junction in the geographic center of Andalusia. It is next to the newly built A-45 dual carriageway (Córdoba–Málaga), which runs close to the city’s west area, and the Autovía del Olivar (Estepa–Úbeda), which passes alongside the city center.
